Orpheum Seating Chart
Main Street is now graced by a procession of stars...gold stars that is, with the names of performers who have graced the Orpheum's stage over the past 100 years. The "Sidewalk of Stars" includes such great names as Yul Brynner, Cary Grant, Helen Keller, Louis Armstrong, Gregory Peck, Carol Channing and Mae West. There are 62 brass stars in all, including hometown favorites like B.B. King and Cybill Shepherd.
Donors who have contributed $1,500 or more to the Orpheum Theatre's Capital Campaign are also honored. Bricks engraved with donors' names surround brass stars mounted in precast concrete pavers resembling faux marble. The "Sidewalk of Stars" is located on Main and Beale Streets in front of the Orpheum. of the Theatre.
